News Alert – France Coronavirus Update

June 10, 2020

While France and other countries around the world are allowing moves to resume once again, Arpin International Group and its supplier partners will continue to operate following current World Health Organization (WHO), United States’ Center For Disease Control (USCDC), and state and local guidelines while performing services. In addition, our moving crews will employ proper precautions in order to help prevent exposure to and spread of COVID-19 during the moving process.

Although moving activity continues to increase, international air travel is still limited. Within France, passengers from non-Schengen Member States are still not allowed to enter the country. This rule does not apply to EU, Swiss, and British Nationals returning to France or people with a residence permit issued by French authorities.

Moreover, while airfreight carrier rates continue to remain high at the present time, Air France expects to open more than 30 international traffic lanes by the end of June which should assist travel and reduce air freight costs.

As international travel continues to expand, your Arpin service team remains available for any questions you may have. We will continue to provide further updates as soon as they become available.
