Proof of a non-criminal record is now a requirement for foreign employees seeking to work in Beijing

June 20, 2013

Due to the differing amounts of time that may be required to obtain and process such certificate depending on the country of issuance, Arpin International Group is advising its clients to obtain the certificate prior to beginning the application process, thereby avoiding any hold up of an employee’s Visa. The new law also applies to foreign workers transferring to Beijing from other locations in China. However, applicants holding Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao passports are exempt.

We will continue to monitor the effects of the new regulation after the implementation date and update you as the situation warrants.

For further information, please contact Arpin International Group’s team in China or your local Arpin sales representative.
