Global Ban on the Inclusion of Hoverboards in Household Goods ShipmentsFebruary 25, 2016
Placing a potentially flammable hazard into the confined space of a plane, truck, or sea container could have catastrophic consequences. Therefore Arpin Group and its subsidiaries will strictly enforce this policy for all modes of transport globally.
Shippers will be counseled by Arpin’s representatives about the ban; however, Arpin’s supplier partners and drivers should remain vigilant when packing household goods shipments. Damage caused from inclusion of a hoverboard in a household goods shipment will not be covered by our underwriters.
If you have any questions about Arpin’s hoverboard policy, please contact your Arpin service team member so together, we can manage the expectations of the relocating families.
