Arpin Group Receives Global Citizenship Award at Cartus 2014 Global Network Conference

Arpin Group was awarded a Global Citizenship Award for its outstanding contributions to the health, welfare, and safety of others, and for improvements in a community’s quality of life on a national or international level.

It’s why we created the Global Citizenship Award to recognize network suppliers like Arpin Group, who exemplify good global citizenship.”

Arpin Group was honored for the work of the Arpin Charitable Fund Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization formed by Arpin employees in 2013, which raised funds and donated a total of $42,282 to over 30 community and medical aid charities.

In addition to monetary donations, Arpin team members also mobilized in their local communities to help with collections for disaster relief efforts. In May 2013, Arpin’s Rhode Island team members collected food, water, and clothing donations to assist with Oklahoma tornado relief efforts. Arpin and the community responded by filling four 53-foot tractor-trailers with supplies, which were transported by Arpin to the Red Cross team onsite in Oklahoma.

In December of that same year, Arpin employees rallied to collect 45,000 pounds of relief supplies for those affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Arpin International Group transported the supplies to the Philippines.
