AMSA’s Registered International Mover (RIM) program has established universal standards for international moving companies and their personnel, while raising their overall level of professionalism and performance. RIM’s goals include creating a core body of knowledge, procedures, documents and skills embodied in training and measured in certification programs, which reduce the number of service failures, improve customer satisfaction and elevate the consistency of quality service of certified companies and individuals.
Currently, more than 220 companies throughout the world and more than 1,000 individuals have completed corporate and individual RIM certification.
AMSA has developed the world’s most comprehensive program, setting the standards for international moving. AMSA’s ProMover program sets the standards for all American interstate movers.

The American Moving & Storage Association, home of the ProMover program, is the national trade association representing the nation’s moving and storage companies, which provide household goods moving services, specialized transportation for sensitive freight such as computers and trade show exhibits, and warehouse storage services.
