Arpin International Group is pleased to announce that Michael Hughes, vice president of global business development, has been elected to the FIDI 39 Club Board.
The FIDI 39 Club is a network for young professionals in the moving and relocation industry. Currently, more than a hundred active members hailing from countries throughout the world. The FIDI 39 Club Board members represent the young generation of FIDI and set the club’s strategic direction.

Michael is a highly respected professional, and we are excited to have him work with our members to proactively address the myriad of complex issues affecting the international removals and relocation industry in innovative, collaborative, and socially responsible ways.
Hughes joined Arpin International Group in 2017 as general manager of its office in Shanghai, China, and has been promoted throughout his tenure with the company to his current position of vice president, global business development. In his current role, Hughes is responsible for contributing to the revenue growth of the company, overseeing the global sales team and client relations, and continues to ensure that Arpin’s international clientele experience the highest level of service quality.

Hughes holds a bachelor’s degree in cross-cultural studies from Nyack College, New York, is certified in the Lean Six Sigma methodology and Google AdWords, and is fluent in Chinese, Korean, and English. On a personal level, Hughes participates in many charitable endeavors including Habitat for Humanity and People-4-Pets. He recently relocated to Houston, TX, with his partner and is looking forward to working closely with FIDI 39 Club members to advance the organizations mission and vision.
