Mark Greene, Senior Vice President, Global Operations for Arpin Group, joins the Board of Directors of the Greater Washington Employee Relocation Council (GWERC) as its new Programs Elect. The mission of the GWERC is to serve as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among professionals involved in the field of relocation.
Greene is currently collaborating with the GWERC team in planning its first virtual council meeting scheduled for late summer/early fall. The meeting will feature a unique perspective from dynamic leaders within corporate and government HR, the purpose of which is to bring new, relevant content to the mobility community and the industry.
Greene brings a keen insight to the GWERC having an impressive 30-year career in the moving and storage industry with a concentration servicing the U.S. Government / General Services Administration (GSA) line of business. Greene began working at Arpin as a college Intern in 1991. Upon earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant College, he joined Arpin on a full-time basis in 1994. During his tenure, he has held positions as Alaska Relocation Coordinator, GSA Manager, and Vice President GSA International, leading him to his current position as Senior Vice President, Global Operations. In this capacity, Greene is responsible for overseeing Arpin Group’s domestic and international GSA relationship and services. During the time Greene has been managing the GSA business segment, Arpin has maintained exceptional Customer Satisfaction Index scores.
Additionally, Greene is a member of Arpin Group’s Management Committee and represents Arpin at most foreign and domestic transportation-related organizations such as FIDI, LACMA, IAM, WERC, GWERC, etc.
He resides in Rhode Island, USA, the location of Arpin’s World Headquarters. He is happily married with two adult children, of whom he is immensely proud.
