For smooth customs clearance, you will typically need your passport, visa, detailed inventory list, permits, and any other country-specific forms. Your International Move Coordinator (IMC) can guide you on the necessary documentation for your destination.

It is generally advised not to ship alcohol or restricted items, as they may cause delays, require additional taxes or duties, or even be prohibited. Consult your IMC before shipping such items to confirm regulations for your destination.

Shipping vehicles requires the original Title for customs clearance. Vehicles must have standard factory equipment, be empty of personal belongings, and contain less than one-quarter of a tank of fuel. Some countries may require modifications to meet local standards. Your International Move Coordinator will assist with these specifics.

Some countries mandate your physical presence during customs clearance. If you are unavailable, your shipment may be delayed. Discuss any potential issues with your International Move Coordinator to ensure proper arrangements are made.

Items like weapons, explosives, perishables, flammable liquids, and specific electronics like lithium batteries in certain devices are restricted. Including these items can lead to customs penalties or delays. Check with your International Move Coordinator for a comprehensive list tailored to your destination.
